FORMER DUBLIN FOOTBALLERS Johnny Magee and Paul Griffin have been named as part of the new management of Kilmacud Crokes, the club have announced.
Magee has been appointed as a joint manager, working alongside former St Sylvester’s manager Robbie Brennan. Griffin will be one of the team selectors, with Robbie Leahy and Shane Smith also taking up that role.
Magee, the older brother of former Dublin midfielder Darren, won two Leinster titles as a defender with the Dubs, while Griffin captained the county to provincial honours in 2009.

The pair also won an All-Ireland club title with Crokes in the same year.

Magee previously managed the Wicklow footballers after taking over from Harry Murphy in 2014. He stepped down from the position earlier this year following a two-point defeat to Laois in Round 1A of the All-Ireland qualifiers.
